A lot of designers still appear to be unaware of the High Pass feature in Photoshop, through using High Pass you can further increase an image’s quality. To use high pass copy the image’s layer and change the blending mode to overlay, then go Filter>Other>High Pass. I recommend setting the settings between 2 to 6 pixels, however this is just a personal preference and then click “OK”. If the effect is to strong, lower the layers opacity to reduce it, and that’s it you should see an increase in the sharpness of your image, without a loss in quality or pixelation.
